Tour & Event Info

Our Dakin Dairy Farm Tour is one of the most unique family activities in the Lakewood Ranch, Sarasota and Bradenton area. Bring the family and your friends to learn “Where Milk Comes From” and how milk travels from the cow to the bottle. Afterwards, you will have a chance to taste the difference of our fresh Dakin milk!

You’ll start by getting up close and personal with our girls in the free stall barns. Next, tour the Milk Parlor and get a firsthand look at how a cow is milked and see where we store our products. Then, follow the flow into the plant itself and learn about pasteurization, bottling, and cheese-making.

Tours include tasting our chocolate and making your own butter. You’ll also get to visit the resident livestock while learning about calves and goats. These tours are educational in addition to entertaining! We offer school field trips, group tours and public tours. There are no group rate discounts.

Tours cost $10 per person plus tax. Tours last 45 minutes to an hour.

At Dakin Dairy Farms we offer a Traditional Farm Party Package or an All Inclusive Farm Party Package plus additional add ons! We offer a variety of options to experience our farm up close and personal at your private event!
